Students may select, as part of their Higher School Certificate pattern of study, a Vocation and Educational Training (VET) delivered through Technical and Further Education (TAFE) providers.
TVET courses studied in Years 11 and 12 count towards the total number of units required by NESA as the pattern of study. Some TVET courses, which are examined as an HSC course, can also contribute towards an ATAR. Students will generally secure a Certificate 2 attainment for the TVET Course.
Students interested in studying a VET course in Years 11 and 12 will need to speak with the Director of Curriculum for advice.
Annual fees apply for enrolment into VET courses.
