At Mercy Catholic College, we believe that every young woman is capable of excellence. We are committed to providing a rich and rigorous academic environment where students are both challenged and supported to achieve their personal best. Learning here is purposeful and engaging, grounded in high expectations and genuine care. We celebrate achievement, encourage curiosity and nurture confidence, knowing that when students feel supported, they flourish.
Education in our Mercy community extends beyond the classroom. We are intentional about forming young women of faith, courage and compassion — women who understand their dignity and recognise their responsibility to contribute positively to the world around them.
Inspired by the Mercy charism of Catherine McAuley, our school is shaped by the enduring values of the Sisters of Mercy: excellence, service, compassion, hospitality, justice and deep respect for the inherent worth of every person. Having personally experienced a Mercy Catholic all-girls secondary education, I have seen firsthand the confidence, leadership and strength that such an environment can nurture in young women. It is a privilege to now lead within that same tradition.
As a Catholic school within the Catholic Schools Broken Bay, we are part of a wider diocesan community committed to educational excellence, authentic faith formation and the holistic development of every student. This partnership strengthens our work and ensures that we remain both future-focused and firmly grounded in the Gospel.
Our strength lies in the quality of our relationships. Students are known, valued and encouraged. Staff bring both expertise and heart to their work, modelling professionalism, dedication and care. Families are trusted partners in learning, and together we create a community where belonging is real and aspiration is shared.
As Principal, it is my privilege to serve this community and to honour the rich Mercy tradition entrusted to us. I warmly invite families to visit our school, experience the spirit of Mercy in action and explore the opportunities available for their daughters. There is something powerful about walking our grounds, meeting our students and staff, and witnessing firsthand the strength, confidence and compassion that define a Mercy education.
Together, we continue to nurture confident, capable and faith-filled young women who will lead with integrity and make a meaningful difference in the world.
