Faith Formation

Inspired by the example of Jesus Christ and the Mercy tradition of Catherine McAuley, we seek to create a community where faith is lived, celebrated and experienced each day. Through Religious Education, prayer, liturgy, retreats, reflection days and meaningful experiences of community and service, students are encouraged to deepen their relationship with God and develop a strong sense of purpose, responsibility and compassion for others.

We believe that every student should be provided with opportunities to encounter Jesus Christ in a personal and meaningful way. Whether through moments of prayer and reflection, participation in social justice initiatives, engagement with the sacraments, or experiences of service to others, students are invited to discover the presence of Christ in their lives and in the world around them.

Our faith formation programs encourage students to reflect on their beliefs, explore life’s big questions and develop the confidence to live out Gospel values with courage and integrity. Through these experiences, we strive to form young women who are grounded in faith, inspired by hope and committed to making a positive difference in their communities.

At Mercy, faith is more than a subject studied in the classroom. It is a lived experience that invites each student to encounter Christ, grow in her relationship with God and discover her unique purpose in the world.
