Catholic Schools Broken Bay Board
Mercy Catholic College Chatswood is part of Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB), a system of Catholic schools committed to providing high-quality education grounded in faith, excellence and service.
The Catholic Schools Broken Bay Board provides strategic leadership and governance for the school system. The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of CSBB, monitoring its delivery and ensuring that the organisation remains faithful to its mission, values and commitment to Catholic education.
As custodians of the Mercy tradition and Catholic educational mission, the Board helps ensure that schools across the Diocese continue to provide outstanding learning opportunities while fostering the wellbeing, faith formation and development of every student.
Director of Schools
The Director of Schools leads the Catholic Schools Broken Bay system on behalf of the Board and is responsible for the effective operation and strategic development of all CSBB schools.
Working closely with school leaders and diocesan teams, the Director supports the delivery of strategic priorities across learning, wellbeing, faith formation and community engagement. This leadership ensures that Mercy Catholic College remains future-focused, responsive to the needs of students and families, and committed to educational excellence within a strong Catholic framework.
